It's pretty easy for me to write about rounds three and four because they are almost a carbon copy of each other!!
I got off to poor starts in both rounds which is not what you are wanting when you are chasing a low round out there. So from then on it was head down bum up trying to fight my way back into the round.
The third round saw me 2 over through 7 and today I was 3 over through 5 holes an seriously chasing my tail!! I have spoken at length to Kev my coach about being able to grind out a score when you are playing with your B or C game. Those days when your A game stays at home. That is what it felt like this week for me each round with the exception being the second round where I played a little better.
I did however fight back both days, trying to find a way to get the job done despite working with a faulty product!! I managed to shoot 2 under in the third round and rallied to end up even par today.
I finished in a tie for 22nd place which was a solid week without being spectacular. I have once again thoroughly enjoyed myself over here and the hospitality has been first class as always!!
I fly back into Brisbane tomorrow before heading away on Monday to do a weeks mission work with Rach and the kids in a remote community out west, running kids programs and doing some house repair work for a struggling community.
After that week I am back into practice for a week before heading to WA for two events in Perth!! Keep smiling people!!
