Well here we go again. This week sees the Aussie Tour arrive in Fremantle for the WA Open. The weather has been threatening again this week and some of the practice rounds have been played under an umbrella. Still, the practice is now done and the work is finished in preparing for the week. It's go time and certainly about time I do exactly that.
I have had a good week of practice and spent a few hours working on the putting after putting well last week but not really making too much. I feel like I have a good feel for the greens here so should putt well this week, touch wood!! The rest of the golf course is good too. It is in sensational condition and will require good ball striking and positioning of the ball off the tee and likewise into the greens as the greens are sloped and have some serious speed about them. My game, again feels good, it is just a matter of putting some runs on the board. I am working on ultra patience this week and am going to try and bore myself to sleep on the course, taking zero risks and just strangle the course to death. 3 birdies each day with 15 pars will do the trick...
