The week was a positive one for me for many reasons. I played great, got my putter going at times, lead after two days and had a solid finish to the week ending up in 13th.
I would have been fairly satisfied with that had I not had the dramas of Thursday nights hospital trip. I was devastated after playing so well to get the lead only to be half the player on Friday after no sleep and severe kidney pain. It isn't often you get yourself into the lead in golf tournaments and usually when you do it's because you have your game really working that week. I can't help thinking that this might have been one that got away.....thanks kidney stones!!
Anyway I have to move forward and not look back, as I have my game in order and plenty coming up. I am home for a week and then off to China and the Perth to do battle with some serious players in the Perth International. Can't wait!!
