It was a tough old day at the office today. I was last group out today and although it wasn't too windy it was slow!! Frustratingly slow, I don't know why people take so long to play, need Gerry marshalling out there in his harsh Scottish voice!!
I drove the ball pretty well again today but my iron play was a little off, that meant a couple of trips to the bunkers for no joy yet again. I consider myself a good bunker player but my goodness it is difficult out of the lies you get here. I think if there was half the sand in there you might have a chance.. I am yet to get one up and down this week and simply hope I can hit all remaining 36 greens in regulation so that I don't have to worry about it. Despite not having a great day with my irons and holing nothing on the greens, I managed to walk off the course 1 over par for the day. It could have been better for sure, but could have been worse too!! So I am tied 7th heading into tomorrow and I am hoping for an under par round tomorrow so that I am comfortable on Friday. As I mentioned, the top 30 make it through which is currently at 4 over through 2 rounds so you would expect that to maybe double by the end of Friday. My job is by no means done so I am still seriously head down bum up for the next two days. It doesn't take much for you to have a bogie on this tough track so there is alot of work stil

Good to read the update Matt. I've been hanging out for it - now I can go to bed!! Hope the bunkers stay out of your way tomorrow! Love to you.
