Well step by step I am getting there. Even though it wasn't my best round on the tour so far, I felt as though I am starting to get closer to playing the way I know I can play. Today I just happened to hit my 2 bad iron shots on the holes you can't afford to hit bad iron shots on, both ending up in the drink and it cost me 4 shots. So my 2 over was close yet still no cigar!! I need to make the birdie chances when I have them, I missed a 5 foot left to right slider and a 9 foot chance on my front nine which would have left me at -2 through 9. As it happens I then hit two poor chip shots by my standards for 2 soft bogies on the 10th and 12th before the second water ball on the 13th to the island green.
I had great patience out there today and hit a lot of quality shots, tighten up the loose ones tomorrow and continue with a number of quality shots an I will be in business. Scores were low today as they should have been, it's a bombers course which doesn't really suit me so I will need to go seriously low tomorrow to make the cut this week. I'm excited to get out there and have a crack and am learning from the experiences all the time. Persistence will get me there in the end and hard work!! I am predicting my first sub par round tomor
