The back nine was a lot better, especially considering the wind was the stongest all week and that combined with difficult pin locations meant a tough final nine holes. Once again I wasn't good enough in a few situations and that meant my solid nine to finish off the tournament was only 2 under instead of 4 or 5 under.
I was very happy with the week as a hole and only missed 6 greens in regulation for the 54 holes. That is certainly confidence building heading into the qualifying for the British Open on Tuesday. It is a tough grind but required as I fly to Scotland tomorrow and play a practice round followed by 36 on top of that on Tuesday! Not a light load considering playing tournament golf the last 3 days.
Scotland is the golfers dream place and I will be no different there. I can't wait to test myself against the elements and hopefully play some of the famous tracks along the way!! Stay tuned for some photos of golf in Scotland!!!
